Our Ministry

Our terrain – About us

By becoming less in our own eyes, we actually become greater in God’s eyes. We exist to lead students to elevate their relationship with God so that He is worshiped and others are loved. We have created environments to help students deepen their relationship with Christ and service opportunities to share that relationship.

Your fearless leaders

The Sevier Heights High School Ministry is led by a group of individuals who are passionate about Christ and sharing His word with students.

Ben Shoun

High School Minister

Ben is often reminded that he is short, approaching 30, and that he married way over his head to Sara. He is much happier about the last of those than the first two. He gave his life to Christ in high school and is passionate about that same thing happening in the lives of students.

Tyler Rhoton

Minister of Student Worship

I was saved at the age of 7. I met my incredible wife Emily in the college ministry at Sevier Heights. She is the absolute love of my life. After her come my beautiful children Caroline and the newest addition to our family, Will. My greatest desire and passion is to be a lead worshiper through life and song. (I especially enjoy doing this with Taylor, my guitar.)
